“The Promised Neverland” Season 2 unveiled on Tuesday its new visual art for its highly anticipated second season, which is confirmed for release in January 2021.
In a Facebook post, the visual art featured Emma, one of the show’s main characters.
“The journey continues January 2021,” the post read.
The story follows the smartest kids Norman, Rey and Emma at an orphanage as they later discover the cruel fate that awaits them in the orphanage. They vow to lead the other children in a risky escape plan as they battle the demons.
The anime series “The Promised Neverland” is based on the manga written by Kaui Shiraia and illustrated by Posuka Demizu.
Last June, the creators released its final chapter. The first season of the anime adaptation was aired in 2019.
