Police identified the victims as retired police officer Rogelio Mamuyac, 63, and his wife Myrna Mamuyac, 62, who both died on-the-spot. Their adopted son Rommel, 27, survived the attack but was wounded.
According to Lingayen Police Chief Lt. Col. Theodore Perez, the stabbing incident took place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 8.
Police said four of the couple’s neighbors attacked them with kitchen knives.
“Dalawang babae at dalawang lalaki ang brutal na sumasak sa mag-asawa," Perez said.
Perez identified the suspects as Gabby Magante, Lilibeth Samson, Jose Samson and Lolita Arellano, all from Lingayen and Dagupan City.
