Patrick Star of 'Spongebob'-fame gets his own show

Spongebob’s favorite sidekick, Patrick Star, will have an eponymous spinoff show.

According to Deadline, Nickelodeon is finalizing deals for the SpongeBob Squarepants spinoff titled “The Patrick Show,” starring the famous pink starfish character voiced by Bill Fagerbakke.

Deadline also reported that voiceover recording for the show have started.

“The Patrick Star Show” will reportedly have a “late-night talk show” concept and will have 13 episodes.

Last year, Nickelodeon president Brian Robbins announced that the network will be developing SpongeBob SquarePants spinoffs.

The first Spongebob spinoff series greenlit by Nickoledan was “Kamp Koral” last June 2019. “Kamp Koral” will tell the story of the young Spongebob.
