“This pandemic took away so many things from us; our livelihood, our businesses, our security, and the lives of our loved ones. It has given me so much anxiety the past few days especially when it comes to our finances. But seeing this photo, reminded me of the real wealth that no amount of money can buy,” said Supsup-Lee as she uploaded a family picture on Instagram few days ago.

Supsup-Lee and her husband Lloyd have ventured into food, restaurant, and clothing businesses. Married for six years now, the couple have two children.

“It’s my first time to venture into food and restaurant business. Mahirap na masaya. Mahirap dahil it takes so much of your time. Pero masaya because of the fulfillment of getting something out of nothing,” said the 34-year-old beauty queen from General Santos City, during an interview in November 2019.

On being a newcomer in business, Shamcey said that her husband taught her about perseverance, persistence, and never giving up.

“You have to start small in business and you have to work hard. Then find ways to make it better and find something new,” said Supsup-Lee, a former topnotcher in the licensure exam for architecture. She was also 3rd runner-up at the 2011 Miss Universe pageant held in Brazil.
