Carly Rae Jepsen to celebrate 'Emotion' anniversary with karaoke party

Pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen is throwing a karaoke party for her fans on Aug. 27 in time for the fifth anniversary of her third album "Emotion."

Jepsen asked fans to send in their videos singing and dancing along to their favorite tracks from the album.

"I'd love to see videos of you singing your favorite Emotion songs. Dance, dress up, and sing your heart out!" the Canadian singer-songwriter wrote on Twitter.

The artist will be hosting a livestream YouTube event featuring fan-submitted karaoke performances of all the album's tracks.

In tandem with the event announcement, Jepsen released special anniversary merchandise including t-shirts, a beach towel, a fanny pack, and a scrunchie.

Earlier this year, Jepsen released "Dedicated Side B," the companion album to 2019's "Dedicated" album.
