ALAMINOS CITY, Pangasinan – The famous Hundred Islands National Park (HINP) is now open to all Pangasinan residents with the continued modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) status in effect in the province.

In early July, city tourism officer Miguel Sison said only 500 tourists will be accommodated at the HINP, or 50 percent of its original capacity, in line with the guidelines of the MGCQ. He also said visitors would be limited to those coming from the first district only.
But now, HINP has reopened to all Pangasinan residents, starting August 8, provided they comply with set requirements and health protocols.
Only residents of Pangasinan, aged between 21 and 59 years old, will be allowed to visit the HINP.
Guests were also directed to present health certificates that they are free of any coronavirus disease (COVID-19) symptoms, and valid identification cards.
Guests shall register individually and subjected to the standard temperature check, and hand and foot sanitation at the designated area determined by the City Tourism Office.
