Fil-American Jordan Clarkson provided one of the best plays in Friday’s NBA action in Orlando.

The Utah Jazz guard capped off a hot start with a difficult scoop layup against three defenders late in the first quarter of their game against the San Antonio Spurs at Walt Disney World.

“FILLLLLAAAYYYYYYYY,” said teammate Donovan Mitchell after retweeting a video of Clarkson’s magical shot.

Clarkson finished with a team-high 24 points, the most since the NBA restarted its season last week, but the Jazz suffered a 119-111 loss to the Spurs, dropping to fifth place in the Western Conference with a 43-26 record.

It also put to naught Clarkson's 13-point first quarter including the basket that was ranked ninth in the NBA's Top 10 plays for Friday.

The 28-year-old has been one of Utah’s best players in the Orlando bubble, averaging 15.6 points in five games despite a shooting percentage of .354.

He’s also receiving praise from teammate Joe Ingles, who got to know Clarkson better since the bubble started.

“Me and JC get along really well anyway, but being with him like every day, which I probably never thought I would really do, he’s probably one of the greatest humans I’ve ever been around. JC will forever be one of my favorite teammates ever,” said Ingles, as quoted by the Deseret News.

Clarkson and the Jazz have three games left before the playoffs start in mid-August.

Utah is playing Denver Saturday afternoon (early-Sunday Manila time) before concluding the seeding games against Dallas on Tuesday and San Antonio on Thursday.
