CRS outlets in Metro Manila, some provinces closed during MECQ

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) announced on Monday that Civil Registration System (CRS) outlets in Metro Manila and provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal are closed during the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) from Aug. 4 to 18.

The PSA said this will affect the transacting of requests of civil registry documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates as well as certification of no marriage record.

Clients are advised to file their applications for PSA-issued documents online via www.psaserbilis.com.ph, it added.

The PSA noted that processing and delivery of documents in areas under MECQ may take longer in view of reduced work force and limited transportation facilities.

It released the following hotline numbers to be available for inquiries and requests for assistance on civil registration matters via text messages only from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday: Globe – 09458406735, 09666506928, 09561887129, 09274228564, 09457041039 or Smart – 09997991873.
