Bring valid IDs when leaving home – Mayor Vico

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said permits to leave premises (PLP) will not be required in the city under the new quarantine status but residents have to bring valid identification cards when they  leave their homes.

“Para sa mga nagtatanong, hindi po required ang PLP dahil wala na tayong oras para mag distribute nito (For those who are asking, PLP is not required because we do not have the time to distribute it),” Sotto said.

“Basta pag kailangan lumabas, magdala ng valid ID. At isa-isa lang tayong lalabas para bumili (In case you need to go out, bring a valid ID. And only one is allowed to go out to buy),” Sotto said.

“Kapag sa trabaho naman, dalhin ang company ID o kahit anong proof of employment (As for workers, bring your company ID or any proof of employment),” he added.

President Duterte reverted Metro Manila and its neighboring provinces to modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) starting Tuesday, August 4 until Aug. 18.
