Jobseekers might want to check the thousands of job vacancies at PhilJobNet, the Department of Labor and Employment's (DoLE) internet-based job and applicant matching system.
The DoLE Bureau of Local Employment on Monday said more than 20,000 jobs are currently available at Philjobnet.
DOLE-BLE even posted the Top 20 job vacancies in their Facebook page.
Topping the list are call center agents with 1,539; followed by customer relations officers with 297; tile setter with 180; telecommunications specialist with 90; customer service assistant with 65; building construction laborer with 60; billing/collection officer with 60; administrative clerk with 60; sales officer with 50; and logistics officer with 50.
Also in the list are personnel clerk with 50; telecommunications technician with 30; maintenance technician with 29; accounting officer with 25; wholesale trade salesman with 20; construction laborer with 20; van driver with 20; salesman with 16; scaffolder with 15; and delivery man with 15.
PhilJobNet is a facility of the labor department that aims to fast-track the jobseeker's search for jobs and the employer's search for a workforce. Its centralized database is maintained by the BLE.

According to the latest Job Displacement Monitoring Report of DoLE, a total of 135,162 workers were displaced nationwide from 6,500 establishments from January to July 27.
Of the 6,500 establishments, 5,867 reduced workforce while 633 reported permanent closure.
