PNP limits transactions in Camp Crame amid surge of virus infections
Beginning Monday, August 3, the Philippine National Police (PNP) will implement new measures that will streamline operations of its regulatory units and offices that provide frontline administrative services at the National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

PNP Chief, Police General Archie Gamboa on Saturday directed the Headquarters Support Service (PNP-HSS) to strictly observe the rules and regulations under streamline operations to protect the camp from further human to human transmission and resurgence of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases at the police camp.
"We see that there’s a need to adopt more measures and protocols designed to extensively reduce if not eliminate person to person transactions inside Camp Crame, particularly among the many PNP frontliner services to contain the threat of COVID-19 resurgence," Gamboa said.
The Administrative Support to COVID-19 Operations Task Force (ASCOTF) under the supervision of Police Lieutenant Gen. Camilo Cascolan, PNP Deputy Chief for Administration, recommended new measures which will limit to only 950 clients who may avail of services at Camp Crame per day.
"All frontline servicing units/offices shall follow the reduced maximum number of clients policy and a color-coded queue card which will be used to maintain the allocated maximum transaction per day to 950 clients," read part of an advisory from the PNP-HSS.
The allocation are as follows: 250 clients for the One Stop Shop (OSS) of Security Guards License (LSP/SG); 200 for Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) OSS; 50 for FEO Heritage; 150 for Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA); 50 for Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence (PTCFOR); and 50 for Retirement and Benefits Administration Service (PRBS ).
