'Money Heist' up for final season

Hit Netflix series "La Casa de Papel," better known as "Money Heist," will end its run with a fifth season.

“THE HEIST COMES TO AN END. PART 5,” Netflix announced on its social media pages.

'Money Heist' creator Alex Pina promised fans the final season of the show will be “most epic and exciting.”

“We’ve spent almost a year thinking how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters,” Pina said in a statement.

“The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels.”

According to a Deadline report, the show’s final season will have 10 episodes.

Netflix also reported that Sense 8’s Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado will joining Álvaro Morte (El Professor),  Úrsula Coberó (Tokyo), Itziar Ituño (Lisbon), Jaime Lorenzo (Denver), Darko Perić (Helsinki), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Esther Acebo (Stockholm), Hovik Keuchkerian (Bogotá), Luka Peros (Marseille), and Belén Cuesta (Manila) in their final heist.

Production for the final season reportedly begins Aug. 3.
