Robredo was a proud mother as she shared the special moment of Tricia graduating with a dual degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.

Tricia, or Janine Patricia, her real name, is the second daughter of the vice president and the late Interior secretary Jesse Robredo.

The vice president posted on her social accounts the graduation photo of Tricia with a message: “Finally, it’s official. Apologies for being a proud mother.”

Robredo has been a caring mother to her three daughters even as she holds the second top post in the land. Her other daughters are Aika and Jillian.

Tricia also took to social media to share her new milestone with her family, friends, and followers.

“Thousands unemployed in the middle of a pandemic, press freedom threatened, personal interests prioritized over public health. And the list goes on,” Robredo’s daughter said.

“Can’t believe I’m graduating at a time like this, but I did not go through six years of medicine just to take this injustice sitting down. Now more than ever, one big fight,” she added.

Tricia then thanked her family for their love and support. She also congratulated her fellow graduates.

“This year is still ours to define. Congratulations, 2020! Now it’s time to heal and transform lives,” she said.
