New boy group Treasure to release single album

YG Entertainment’s newest boy group Treasure will release “The First Step: Chapter One" on Aug. 13.

The group's first single album album comes out less than a week after the group makes their official debut on Aug. 7.

Treasure announced their online fan signing event on Aug. 14 with 30 selected fans who were able to purchase their album in Ktown4u, an official Kpop online store.

Fans expressed anticipation for the 12-member group’s project by trending “1stSINGLEALBUM” on Twitter. As of writing the hashtag has reached the number one spot in the trending topics in the Philippines.

“We have waited for years and now their debut is finally gonna happen, congrats teumes for staying by their side. Let’s make them trend worldwide!” wrote the group’s international fan base on Twitter.

Treasure is composed of 12 members led by Choi Hyunsuk. The rest are Bang Yedam, Doyoung, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Yoon Jaehyuk, Asahi, Haruto, Jeongwoo, So Junghwan.

The group is under the same roster as BIGBANG, Blackpink, WINNER, and iKON's.
