Several bashers received a scolding from Ruru Madrid after they allegedly body-shamed his rumored girlfriend Bianca Umali.
Bianca recently uploaded a selfie that shows her wearing only red lipstick. Apparently, bashers were not happy with the way she looks.
One even said the actress looks “tuyot” (dried up) and also compared her appearance to a post when she and another Kapuso actor and long-time leading man Miguel Tanfelix were rumored to be dating.
Ruru had enough of the bashing and came to Bianca's defence.
He commented: “I don't know what's wrong with people right now? Parang ang dami laging opinyon ng mga tao.”
The actor said it’s painful to know some Filipinose are out to bring down their kababayans.
“Sana wala ng ganun, sana sinusuportahan nalang natin ang isa't isa,” he continued.
Bianca and Ruru have been rumored to be dating since 2018.
The two have become more open with their relationship on social media albeit no confirmation has been declared as of press time.
