Fr. Faraon passes away

Radio Veritas anchor and former station manager Father LarryÂ FaraonÂ has passed away on Sunday, JulyÂ 26.

The church-run radio saidÂ FaraonÂ died at past 3 a.m. due to pneumonia, just weeks after celebrating his 64th birthday.Â

Born on July 4, 1956 at San Antonio, Binan, Laguna, Laureano BalverdeÂ Faraon became radio commentator and manager of Radio Veritas during the 80's.

Father Faraon was last heard in Veritas846 in the program "Healing Touch sa Veritas" as well as in the masses.

"We are praying for the eternal repose of your soul, Fr. Larry," Veritas said.
