Pregnant work-from-home woman in Cagayan tests positive for COVID-19
CAGAYAN --- A pregnant woman who works from home was found positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Cagayan Provincial Information Office posted on Facebook that the Provincial Health Office has announced that patient CV240, a 31-year-old woman, pregnant, and from Basi West, Solana, Cagayan has no travel history.
On July 2, she went to see a doctor at a hospital in Tuguegarao City. On July 20, she went to Santiago City for the mass testing offered by the company where she works and tested positive for the virus based on the swab test result. She is asymptomatic and is now home quarantined.
Meanwhile, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) from Los Angeles California tested positive for COVID-19 in Marede, Sta. Ana, Cagayan.
He is patient CV241, 42, who arrived in the Philippines on July 3. He stayed from July 3-8 at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
From July 8-21, he stayed in Caloocan City . He arrived in Sta Ana ,Cagayan on Wednesday. He was swab tested and the result came out positive.
