Award-winning Pinoy band Ben&Ben and their song “Leaves” entered South Korean music chart Melon’s real-time search, apparently after getting shout-outs from members of K-pop idol groups.

“Can’t believe it. we’re trending # 1 in south korea,” according to Ben&Ben’s post on Twitter after seeing the search ranking.

On Instagram Live, K-pop rock band DAY6’s Young K listened to “Leaves” after fans recommended it to him.

“I did check them out. They’re a band from Philippines. I heard ‘Leaves.’ It was amazing. “Ben&Ben. ‘Leaves.’ It was amazing. Wow, I was surprised,” Young K said of the song. Boy band NCT member Mark also played the song on his VLive broadcast.

Ben&Ben tweeted, “Thank u for listening to our music, young k of @day6official!!” and “Hey thanks for playing our song “leaves”, Mark of @NCTsmtown_127!”

Earlier, NCT Dream’s Renjun played “Leaves” on his radio show on TBS eFM 101.3MHz, according to a fan’s post.
