Pasay City gov't continues distribution of P3,000 cash aid to grade-school students
The Pasay City government on Tuesday (July 21) began distributing financial assistance to 2,520 elementary students from Padre Zamora Elementary School (PZES) under the city's Financial Assistance to Students Program.Â
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the PZES students will receive P3,000 each from or P1,000 for the months of January, February, and March for the past school year, 2019-2020.
The mayor also called for the full cooperation of parents and or guardians of the students who will represent their child in receiving the financial aid to observe the health protocols, guidelines and procedures set by the city government and the Department of Education-Pasay to ensure the smooth distribution of the cash aid.
Rubiano said the city government has finished distributing the same aid to 3,493 students from the University of Pasay, and 7,460 students from Padre Burgos Elementary School, Juan Sumulong Elementary School, Don Carlos Elementary School, and Pres. Corazon Aquino High School.
She also said the city government is preparing to hand out the cash assistance to students in other schools located in the city.
