ILOILO CITY—Despite the economic uncertainty triggered by the pandemic, the 72-hectare township Iloilo Business Park in this city will have its sixth residential tower.

Major property developer Megaworld Corp. has launched The Pinnacle, a 20-storey condo building that will have 572 units.
“Iloilo City, particularly Iloilo Business Park, remains to be an attractive location for property investments,” said Jennifer Palmares-Fong, vice president for sales and marketing of Megaworld Iloilo.
“The launching means confidence ,” Palmares-Fong told Manila Bulletin.
She noted how prices per square meter have already more than doubled since 2013, when Megaworld started selling unit for its first residential condo tower at the township that used to be the old Iloilo airport.
Megaworld is expecting to generate sales of P1.5 billion from The Pinnacle.
With the launching of The Pinnacle, there will be a total of 1,741 residential units among the six condo buildings in the business park.
The township has seen development with the rise of hotels, corporate buildings, a mall, the city’s only convention center, and a modern art museum.
