Starting today, five Tagalog-dubbed series will air on TV5 network, report claims.
These are "Furious Fire," "DCs Legends Of Tomorrow," "Gotham," "Betty Sa NY" and "Tierra de Reyes."
"Furious Fire" is a Thai drama that is a thinly veiled depiction of the life story of Hsinbyumashin, queen of Burma (now Myanmar). It is set in the fictional country of Muang Thip. Lady Ananthip has been stripped of her royal title. Her father, the late King Pitula, was deposed in a coup led by King Burapha Kham, who is the elder brother of Crown Princess Sekkaradewi. Out of resentment, she seeks revenge and precipitates the loss of Muang Thip's independence.
"Legends Of Tomorrow" revolves around Rip Hunter, a time traveller who comes to know of Vandal Savage's plan to cause an apocalypse to destroy Earth and time. However, he assembles superheroes to thwart Savage's evil plan and save the world.
"Gotham" is about Detective James Gordon, a new recruit assigned to investigate the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne. The case acquaints him with the slain couple's son and future crusader, Bruce.
The storyline of "Betty Sa NY" goes: After being rejected for multiple jobs, a young Hispanic woman who is living in New York City accepts one far below her qualifications in the fashion industry. Now, she must face the greatest challenge of her life, which is love.
"Tierra de Reyes" is about three grieving brothers launch a quest for justice that leads them to their enemy's sprawling horse ranch, and into the arms of his three daughters.
It was in the last quarter of 2015 when TV5 dissolved its entertainment department.
