Comedy actor Michael V tests positive for COVID-19

Michael V, known as “Bitoy,” announced he tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The comedy actor confirmed the news on his latest vlog posted on Monday.

Bitoy revealed he experienced flu-like symptoms when he tried to make a vlog last time.

Earlier, Michael V said he experienced weird sensation in his nasal area and even lost his sense of smell.

“Isa sa mga symptoms ng COVID is yung lost of smell and taste. I was afraid that it could be something like that,” he said.

On his 8th day of isolation, Bitoy received his test results and it came back positive.

“Right now fever na lang, yung sense of smell na-re-regain ko na siya,” he said.

“Tutuloy lang natin mga sinabi sa 'tin na kailangan gawin and we'll get through this. We've been through worse. Sobrang nami-miss ko na yung pamilya ko,” he added.

Several personalities like Christopher de Leon, Iza Calzado, Sylvia Sanchez, and journalist Howie Severino tested positive for COVID-19.
