Two construction workers and two truck helpers were hurt when a delivery truck carrying construction materials tipped over from a bridge between Barangay Calimag and Barangay F. De Castro on Monday (July 20).

According to Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) assistant Jose Bongala, the driver seemed to have lost control of the loaded vehicle as it passed along a curved part of the road leading to the bridge.
Four out of five men riding at the back of the truck fell into the river under the bridge as the vehicle landed on its side.
The victims sustained wounds and bruises.
A relative of one of the victims, who refused to be identified, told Manila Bulletin that some of the men also endured fractures.
They were given first aid treatment by the rescue team before being taken to Carsigma District Hospital.
