One of the daughters of Vice President Leni Robredo added yet another feather to her cap after she finished her medical internship on Wednesday.

Robredo’s second daughter, Tricia, was a medical intern at the The Medical City from 2019 to 2020. She graduated from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.
Her proud mother took to Facebook to share the latest milestone in their family.
“Tricia’s last day of Internship today. Finally done with Med School. Waiting for this pandemic to be finally over so she can officially receive her MD and MBA degrees,” she wrote in a post.
Robredo also posted an old photo with Tricia, saying a “lifetime of service” awaits her.
Mrs. Robredo has been a hands-on mom to her three daughters despite her busy schedule and duties as vice president.
Her other daughters are Aika, a graduate of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and Jillian who is taking up Biomolecular Science under New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering.
In an Instagram post, Tricia recalled the moments when she entertained the thought of pursuing a new career path, but she still kept going.
“Every semester I thought about leaving but then I’d always come back anyway, hoping for better days and counting down to when I can finally say it’s over. But now we’re here, I’m at peace knowing that the last half decade wasn’t out to waste,” she wrote.
“This chapter finally warranted a better closure (and a better picture lol) but I’ll take what I can get. Thank you for this adventure, I’m pretty glad I stayed,” she said.
