New PNP Aviation Security head named

Police Brig. Gen. Domingo Ramos Lucas takes over as Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group director on Monday, replacing vice Brig. Gen. Crisaldo Nieves who served at the helm for six months.

Among the measures implemented by Nieves during his stint was police visibility at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

“I encourage our men and women in uniform to continue close coordination with our stakeholders, especially airport management, and continue helping our locally stranded individuals,” Nieves said.

Nieves had initiated the COVID testing of his personnel and thanked a private company for the testing and donating Personal Protective Equipment.

Nieves was reassigned to the PNP Region 2 (Cagayan Valley). Lucas was previously assigned to the PNP Region 5 (Bicol).
