President Duterte is seeking the “public hanging” of a policewoman in cahoots not only with the Abu Sayyaf Group but also with an international terrorist group.
The President called detained Police Supt. Maria Cristina Nobleza a “traitor” after authorities discovered she was among the recipients of terror funds abroad based on remittance documents.

She is really the lady who is a traitor to her country,” he said. "Dapat bitayin at public hanging siya. And I will not hesitate to do it if it comes to that. I will hang every traitor dito sa gobyerno,” he added. The President said he reviewed Nobleza’s Western Union remittances which showed the transfer of huge money from abroad. He noticed that Nobleza became rich after accepting terror funds abroad. “Maraming pera ‘yan. Maraming pera ‘yang si Nobleza,” he added. Nobleza was arrested in Bohol with an alleged member of the Abu Sayyaf group last April. Nobleza, then deputy chief of the PNP Crime Laboratory in Davao City, supposedly tried to facilitate the escape of the terror suspect when they were accosted at a checkpoint. She is now detained in Camp Crame. Last week, the President said Nobleza was an “active player in this terrorism business” following the discovery of her role as carrier of Islamic State funds for local terror groups.
