The Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) is honoring frontline workers bravely battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic with special stamps.

PHLPost said under the theme “We fight for you, Frontline Heroes, fighting against coronavirus,” the colorful stamps illustrate Filipino workers, which include doctors, medical staff, military, police, delivery, supermarket, and food personnel.

“This postage stamp is our simple way of uplifting and boosting their morals and making them feel that their sacrifices are not left unnoticed,” Postmaster General Joel Otarra said in a statement.

According to PHLPost, the “Frontline Heroes” stamps will be available starting July 13.

Meanwhile, it also launched “Stamp on Wheels,” a door-to-door delivery service as a safety precaution for stamp collectors and employees amid COVID-19 pandemic.
