The public can now stream award-winning documentary "Aswang" online for free starting today (July 11).
The film, which follows the first two years of President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, was supposed to have its Philippine premiere at the six-day Daang Dokyu documentary film festival but it was postponed due to the pandemic.
Viewers will be able to watch it online on the film's official website and Facebook Page at 6 p.m.
The in-depth documentary on the drug war tackles the stories of victims from marginalized communities, exposing how their lives have changed during the current administration's campaign against illegal drugs.
Alyx Ayn Arumpac's "Aswang" bagged the International Film Critics' FIPRESCI award in Amsterdam in 2019.
