Pasay City releases cash assistance to CUP students

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano ordered the release of P3,000 financial assistance to 3,493 students of the City University of Pasay (CUP) for school year  2019-2020.

Rubiano said the amount represents financial assistance for the months of February, March and April at P1,000 per month for school year of 2019-2020.

The lady mayor said CUP President Rose Estuche has scheduled the release of the cash  assistance to students from 20 zones in the city to ensure their safety. 

Financial assistance for the remaining months of school year 2019-2020 will be released on July 13.

Rubiano said the city government is giving financial assistance to CUP students to help them with their school needs.

To claim their allowance, student recipients should bring the following: photocopy of School ID, photocopy of Certificate of Matriculation (COM) for 2nd semester for school year 2019-2020 and photocopy of valid ID of parents/guardians who will get their allowance.

The CUP is also appealing to students as well as their parents or guardians to follow the schedule of the release of the financial assistance, wear facemask, observe  physical distancing and bring own pens and alcohol.
