MYEG launches MyEGuard contact tracing app

MYEG Philippines, Inc. has developed a mobile application that serves as a technology-driven solution for proper contact tracing and health check diagnosis, using a proprietary biotechnology system.

Launched just in time for the COVID-19 crisis, the MyEGuard app enables users to do an in-app Health Awareness Scan using a facial biotechnology scan to check the vitals and update one's health status with the help of a diagnosis questionnaire.

The result of the scan will be categorized into health risk levels, providing frontline agencies and health workers with information critical in isolating infected and suspected high-risk individuals. Frontline agencies can validate the identity and health status of individuals by just simply scanning the unique QR code assigned by the MyEGuard app upon registration.

Another core feature of the MyEGuard, Trace It! allows the app to track users if they were in contact with a COVID-19 patient that has been confirmed by the MyEGuard app. The in-app Alert Initiator allows relevant government agencies to request validated COVID-19 patient information to track and contact individuals whom possibly they had close contact with.

Aside from MyEGuard, MYEG also developed MyQR, a simple and seamless digital identification mobile application designed to monitor and track individuals entering restaurants and other business establishments. The app assists business owners in monitoring visitors by scanning the QR code on their mobile phone before they can enter their business establishments. MyQR's Scan & GO! feature allows for fast recording and entry of customers.

Banking on its proven technology, MYEG has been providing eGovernment services in both Malaysia and the Philippines for the last 18 years. Its technology platform encompasses the Internet, automation, big data, and electronic payments, enabling contactless transactions that are becoming more necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In the Philippines, MYEG has been a trusted partner of private and government agencies in the country such as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Land Bank of the Philippines (Land Bank), CIMB, and a number of local government units (LGUs) like Ilagan City in Isabela and Baler municipality in Quezon Province.
