The 1975 frontman Matt Healy dissed The Chainsmokers on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, as Nick Grimshaw played the show's 'song of the day'; Paris by The Chainsmokers.
Having a similar song with the same title, Healy felt ripped off by the DJ-duo. When Grimshaw introduced the song Healy quickly said the song was going to "rubbish."
He said, "Oh, it’s going to be rubbish,” he says. “It’s going to be rubbish. Put it on, let’s see what this is like.”
Although, it appears in his co-hosting on the radio show that he was not taking his part seriously, especially after telling a caller who didn't want to go to school because of the snow, to stay in.
“I’m saying you can stay home. You can blame it on me." Matt said to the caller.
