The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has renamed its two revenue district offices (RDO) in Bulacan to avoid confusion as they were transferred to the same building in the province.
In an administrative order, BIR Commissioner Caesar Dulay renamed RDO 25A as RDO West Bulacan and RDO 25B as RDO East Bulacan.
Both district offices are now housed at the BIR-owned building along Bypass Road, Tiaong, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
The RDOs have a combined collection goal of almost P11 billion for the year. They are under the Caloocan revenue region.
RDO West is composed of Malolos City and the nearby towns of Paombong, Bocaue, Guiguinto, Bustos, Balagtas, Baliuag, Bulacan, Plaridel, Calumpit, Hagonoy, Pandi, and Pulilan.
The other towns are under the jurisdiction of RDO East. (Jun Ramirez)
