Priotize COVID-19 response, Pangilinan urges DILG

Pangilinan on Thursday criticized the administration for putting in the back burner its supposed attention on containing the dreaded coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis by prioritizing on other issues that are not considered urgent. The ATB awaits approval or veto by the President. ‘’Kung kailan abala ang mga lokal na pamahalaan sa pagtulong sa kanilang mga kababayan, nagawa pa ng DILG isingit ang usapin ng anti-terror bill. Some of the LSIs stay and sleep under bridges for days while waiting for available planes or buses that would take them to their provinces.
