Cavite reports 6 more COVID-19 cases; provincial total now at 434

IMUS CITY, Cavite – Six more new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases were reported on Sunday in Cavite, raising the total number of cases in the province to 434.
Authorities said the additional cases involved two resident-patients each from General Trias City, Silang municipality and Trece Martires City.
As of 3 p.m., June 14, the Cavite Case Tracker report showed that the city or district of Bacoor continued to have the biggest number of cases in the province, and Magallanes, a municipality in upland eighth district, remained COVID-19-free.
On second, third and fourth spots after Bacoor were the neighboring cities or districts of Dasmariñas, the capital Imus and General Trias.
The tracker was derived from the latest COVID-19 case data of the Cavite Provincial Health Office-Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PHO-PESU).
Sixth district (General Trias) Board Member Kerby Javier Salazar, the chairperson of the Committee on Health, Nutrition and Population , posted the provincial case tracker on his Facebook page at past 4 p.m. Sunday.
The tracker report revealed that Cavite has 434 confirmed cases, with 31 deaths and 161 recoveries, and 155 probable, 6,743 suspect and 3,896 negative cases.
The report identified the six new cases as two men, aged 43 and 28, from General Trias; two women, aged 51 and 76, from Silang; and another two women, aged 30 and 43, from Trece Martires City.
