A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Zamboanga del Norte early Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
The earthquake, which occurred at 6:29 a.m., was tectonic in origin and was traced 35 kilometers northeast of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.
The quake had a depth of 25 km with the following registered intensities:Â Intensity IV - Zamboanga City
PHIVOLCS said the quake was also felt under the following instrumental Intensities:Â Intensity III - Zamboanga City
