On May 31, the Revilla was rushed to the hospital after experiencing difficulty in breathing and being “somewhat unresponsive.” The following day, Senator Bong said his father was in “critical condition.” “Daddy is still in critical condition and will be under strict observation for the next 48 hours,” Revilla Jr. said in a June 1 Facebook post.
