Former Sen. Revilla Sr. taken off ventilator, can breathe on his own

Former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. can now “breathe on his own” after being hooked to a ventilator for weeks.

In a Facebook post, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. said his father had been taken off the ventilator on Thursday, June 11.

“Thank you for all the prayers! Patuloy po nating ipanalangin na makauwi na po siya,” the younger Revilla said.

On May 31, the Revilla was rushed to the hospital after experiencing difficulty in breathing and being “somewhat unresponsive.”

The following day, Senator Bong said his father was in “critical condition.”

“Daddy is still in critical condition and will be under strict observation for the next 48 hours,” Revilla Jr. said in a June 1 Facebook post.
