Pasay City workers are required to bring with them their company ID and a barangay certificate as part of the city's guidelines under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ), it announced on Monday.
Meanwhile, those who will just start to work in companies recently allowed by the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) are required to bring their Company ID, Certificate of Employment / Return to Work Order and Barangay Certificate.
On the other hand, residents who will be buying goods from various establishments are required to have with them their quarantine pass even as Metro Manila shifts to the General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
The city withdrew its earlier announcement that a quarantine pass is no longer needed when buying.
After a meeting with Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año, Mayor Emi-Calixto Rubiano said that those who will be going to all commercial establishments such as but not limited to malls, convenience stores, markets, talipapas, and others should have a quarantine pass and an ID with them.
On Sunday, the city also reminded residents that the Market Day Scheme will push through to avoid crowded marketplaces and to allow everyone to get a chance to buy their necessities.
The city said the following guidelines are still to be observed in markets: social distancing (a distance of no lower than one meter); wearing of face masks; use of alcohol or sanitizers and temperature checks.
It added that persons below 20 years old will not be allowed to buy and senior citizens are urged to ask other persons to purchase goods for them.
As for the schedule, Barangays 1 to 40; Barangays 68 to 92; Barangays 145 to 157; Barangay 183; and Barangays 187 to 201 can shop on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Barangays 41 to 67; Barangays 93 to 144; Barangays 158 to 182; and Barangays 184 to 156 can go to markets on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Sunday will be allotted for frontliners and buyers from outside the city. The markets are open from 5 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.
