San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced on Thursday that the Muslim prayer room in Greenhills Shopping Center will also be re-opened by next week.
'yung most ng ating tiangge owners or 'yung nagtratrabaho doon ay Muslim brothers and sisters natin so sasabay lang 'yan sa pagbukas ng tianggehan," Zamora said in an interview over DZBB.
The mayor also assured that the prayer room was already disinfected.
Once the mall re-opens, Zamora said there will be safety officers who will help limit the number of persons entering the Greenhills Shopping Center.
Once they see na overcrowded na, mag-stop silang magpapasok. 'Yan ay nakikita ko dito sa mga nagbukas na..." he said.
The mall management has also modified the "tiangge" area’s layout by putting a two-meter distance in between stalls, he added.
Zamora said.
Meanwhile, wearing of face masks is still required for all mall vendors and shoppers, the mayor noted.
