Taguig City gives cash, hygiene kits to seniors, PWDs

By Rizal Obanil The Taguig City local government distributed cash and hygene kits to senior citizens and PWDs (persons with disability). (I LOVE TAGUIG / FACEBOOK / MANILA BULLETIN) (I LOVE TAGUIG / FACEBOOK / MANILA BULLETIN) In a Facebook post Tuesday, May 26 the local government said that P 4,000 and hygene kits containing soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste were distributed. The team also gave PWDs and senior citizens in Taguig SIM cards. Taguig City has been encouraging their constituents to keep themselves healthy and part of that is maintaining proper hygiene. Experts have time and again reminded the public to wash hands frequently and thoroughly especially after going outside their residence. Aside from promoting proper hygiene, the local government of Taguig has also allowed a limited number of hours during the day for their constituents to do outdoor exercises like jogging. A few days ago the local government approved an ordinance making the wearing of face masks in public in Taguig mandatory.
