LTFRB-National Capital Region (NCR) Office Regional Director Zona Tamayo inked a memorandum of agreement with Pisopay's President Ariel Surca last week to prepare a system which allows transactions to be made online except publication, and hearing.
"By designing a system which would allow transactions to be made online, LTFRB services will now be accessible to stakeholders at the comfort and convenience of their own homes while we are gearing up for the new normal," Tamayo said.
According to Tamayo, physical distancing measures could be followed through PTOPS while granting faster and more convenient transactions between the agency and stakeholders.
For its part, Pisopay said that it offers their services to design and develop the LTFRB's online payment facility for free to show its continuous support to government efforts in ensuring public safety amid the pandemic.
The PTOPS, which will be available for services at the LTFRB-NCR, is targeted to be fully operational by mid-June, the LTFRB added.
