A restaurant based in San Pedro, Laguna cried foul after receiving a fake order from a customer who claimed to be a "blogger."
In a Facebook post, the Chacha Special Binalot sa Dahon restaurant recalled the experience of falling prey to a certain Reynan Ganete, an alleged blogger.
"Pa-close na kami hinabol pa namin yung order nya kasi baka need nila talaga ng dinner. Sabi na rin ng rider namin sayang daw yan at i-last order na namin kahit medyo maambon hahatid daw nya. Hindi na naawa sa mga naghahanap-buhay kahit sa rider na gustong ihatid ang pagkain nya! (We were about to close. We just rushed his order because we thought maybe he needed the food for his dinner. Our rider told us to accept it as our last order, even though it's a bit raining, he's willing to deliver it. The customer showed no remorse to us and to our rider who's just working to earn a living!)"
The restaurant shared screenshots of the conversation on Facebook.
When the rider was on his way to deliver the food, Ganete told he was canceling his order to cook pancit canton instead.
The restaurant then said that it was impossible to make the cancellation, since the order was already being transported.
The customer insisted the cancellation and said: "It's a prank. Para po sa blog namin. (This is for our blog). Thank you for being a sport."
The "blogger" even promised to give the restaurant a shoutout in his blog.
The customer ordered food amounting to P1,061.
