UPCAT results likely out this month

By Ellalyn de Vera Ruiz The results of the University of the Philippines College Admissions Test (UPCAT) for academic year 2020-2021 will likely be released this month, according to the UP College of Admissions on Tuesday. It was originally scheduled last March 30, 2020. “The Office of Admissions, like all other units and offices in the University of the Philippines, has had to adapt by operating with only a tiny fraction of its workforce to complete the necessary validation procedures and the final computations of results for over 100,000 UPCAT examinees,” UP said in a statement. “We understand your concern about the pending release of UPCAT 2020 results, but rest assured that the Office of Admissions continues to do its utmost despite severe limitations and challenges,” it added. The university asked all the examinees to disregard any announcements other than those coming from the UP Office of Admissions. It also urged to the public to refrain from sharing misleading information through social media so as not to exacerbate the anxiety of UPCAT applicants.
