Ospital ng Sampaloc's staff now negative for COVID-19

By MB Online The Ospital ng Sampaloc in Manila on Wednesday said all of its personnel have now tested negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). "Sa ngayon wala na po kaming personnel na COVID posiitive. Lahat po sila ay naka-recover na. Wala na rin po kaming binabantayan na mga COVID suspect na mga health worker," said Ospital ng Sampaloc Director Aileen Lacsamana in an interview over DZMM Teleradyo. Lacsamana added that the hospital has four patients with mild symptoms of COVID-19. Lacsamana said the hospital screened at least 854 Sampaloc residents for the respiratory disease last week during the hard lockdown in the city. "Labing tatlong barangay po ang nag-participate, ito ay batay sa report ng Manila Health Department," she added. The doctor said five of them tested positive and were placed under quarantine as they wait for confirmatory test results. "Ninety four percent po ay negative sa antibody test na isinagawa natin. Sa ngayon, hanggang kahapon, wala po tayong nakuha na resulta ng testing nila, ngunit naka-abiso naman ang mga 'yan ng quarantine. Sa Del Pan quarantine facility po yan."
