EduTuber Team Lyqa has launched her #LearnFromHome project, a compilation of helpful videos that promote both teaching and learning from home, to help anyone who wants to refresh their knowledge on curriculum-aligned topics, learn new skills, or even become an EduTuber themselves.
“One of the problems we have these days is the need for people - the young professionals, workers, and even students - to occupy themselves while at home. As an EduTuber and content creator, I figured that I can use my platform and knowledge to help those who want to be productive and make the most of their free time,” said Team Lyqa in her first #LearnFromHome video.
Together with Peter Esperanza, or “Dr. E” of Numberbender, they have prepared playlists that cover a range of Math and English lessons. Team Lyqa is also encouraging her viewers to learn new skills from other creators and online classes, such as computer programming, guitar tutorials, and basketball lessons among others.

There are also study hacks for students who are planning to make use of their time reviewing and preparing for board and licensure exams. Career tips and job searching hacks are also available for those who want to secure their careers and land their dream jobs after the quarantine.
Join the growing community of EduTubers
Those who want to become an EduTuber themselves can also pick up useful advice from Team Lyqa and Numberbender. The two seasoned creators have prepared simple and easy-to-understand video tips to get your content career started during quarantine - from conceptualizing channel content, to shooting, and editing video tutorials.
For starters, Team Lyqa suggests keeping an ‘idea’ notebook to jot down your ideas for video content and list possible topics to share with viewers. She also recommends creating a workflow table with post-it notes to help keep track of the progress of your videos.
Challenge yourself with online workshops and bootcamps
Team Lyqa is also hosting a Math Boot Camp every Monday at 10am on her channel to offer hands-on mentorships and in-depth on various math topics. Worksheets and exercises are also provided to guide online learners.
Volunteer mentors are also helping to facilitate free online writing classes. Those who want to improve their writing skills are welcome to join the mentoring group. The writing class is open to everyone but with limited slots -- those interested to join can sign up here.
Put on those thinking caps and get ready to #LearnFromHome with Team Lyqa, Numberbender, and a whole lot of other creators. Don’t forget to subscribe to their channels and check out the full list of #LearnFromHome playlists and worksheets.
