The Thomasian Mental Health Responders (MHR) of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Department of Psychology has expanded its free mental health service to accommodate anybody seeking mental health support.
"We are opening our services to those who are in need of mental health support," MHR said in a Facebook post.
Priority is given to frontliners, persons under monitoring (PUMs), persons under investigation (PUIs), COVID-19 positive patients, those mourning, and those with pre-existing condition who are unable to see their psychologists or psychiatrist.
The free service initially catered to the mental health needs of medical fronliners.
The Thomasian Mental Health Responders are composed of volunteers who are licensed psychologists, licensed guidance counselors, medical doctors, psychology graduate students, and allied health professionals trained in providing psychological first aid.
Those who need support can message or Viber at +639171521817, or sign up on the provided link.
