The local governments of Taguig City and Muntinlupa City have launched mental health support services for its residents.

The city of Taguig introduced the "Mental Health Support Teleconsultations" for everyone with mental health concerns.

For those people dealing with sadness or depression, the Mental Health Support Teleconsultations can be reached through 0917-581-3934 or 0961-734- 0805 for consultations.

The Muntinlupa City launched counseling online called "24/7 Live Chat Program for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support" where the residents can message them anytime.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), the current situation may cause stress, depression, and sadness.

In a report from ABS-CBN News, DOH said that it is normal to worry and feel sad due to the current situation whereas seeking professional help and having someone to talk to can be helpful. Hence a free mental health counseling can be important as well, the department said.
