Meet Helena, Koko Pimentel's 'miracle baby'

By MB Online Kathryna Yu-Pimentel introduced her and Senator Koko Pimentel’s “miracle baby” on social media Thursday. (Facebook / MANILA BULLETIN) (Facebook / MANILA BULLETIN) In a Facebook post, Yu-Pimentel said she was “grateful” for her second life after undergoing a “miracle emergency C-section delivery” on March 29. Yu-Pimentel also thanked the doctors who “helped, sacrificed, and risked themselves,” to save her and her child, who the couple named Helena. “I will be forever grateful to all of you... to the hospital and doctors who really took care of us with open arms,” she wrote “I am very humbled that all of you monitored me and our baby 24/7. We felt the genuine love, commitment, and concern that no amount of money can buy... up to now I still can't believe that my miracle baby and I are alive,” she added. Yu-Pimentel also expressed her gratitude to her “true” friends, family and loved ones who prayed for her and her family. “In time po, when all this crisis is finished we will pay it forward to all of you,” she wrote.
