Pasig City gives top priority to poorest of the poor - Mayor Vico

We have to prioritize the poorest of the poor areas," Sotto said in an interview with CNN Philippines. The mayor said the city is starting the second wave of distribution of relief goods. "Hindi naman 100 percent nabibigyan lahat. Binabalikan po natin ngayon ang mga hindi pa nabigyan," Sotto said. The local government of Pasig City started distributing food packs to its residents affected by the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) last Monday, March 23. Sotto said the biggest challenge in distributing aid to the residents is logistics. "'Yung pagpasok sa mga lugar dahil we have to practice social distancing kapag ibababa ang relief goods," he said. Sotto assured that the LGU, along with the national government, is doing its best to provide for the needs of the people.
