Mayor Vico Sotto has called on doctors and nurses who want to work in Pasig, as their hospitals near saturation point.
In his Twitter account on Sunday, the Pasig City mayor expressed gratitude to medical frontliners for their service amid the rising number of cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.
“I'm thankful & proud of our doctors. Walang reklamo kahit sobrang pagod na,” Sotto wrote. (I am thankful and proud of our doctors. They don't complain even though they are very tired.) However, the mayor said that with the city hospitals close to saturation point, “WE NEED MORE HUMAN RESOURCES,” he stressed. Sotto gave an email address: [email protected] for doctors or nurses who would want to work in Pasig, either full-time or part-time. As of posting, the Department of Health (DOH) has recorded 1,418 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country.Im thankful & proud of our doctors. Walang reklamo kahit sobrang pagod na. But the fact is, our city hospitals are nearing saturation point. WE NEED MORE HUMAN RESOURCES.
