“We would like to inform you that we are currently unable to treat Patients Under Investigation (PUI) or confirmed COVID-19 patients because we have exceeded (our) full capacity,” the hospital announced in its Facebook page.
“However, Asian Hospital and Medical Center is still open to admit patients with other kinds of sickness and diseases,” it assured.
The facility disclosed that three of its COVID-19 patients have already died but 19 have been discharged following recovery. It also admitted 58 persons under investigation (PUIs).
It also indicated that 21 of its hospital staff have been placed on quarantine due to possible exposure to the virus.
Among the admitted COVID-19 patients and PUIs, the hospital said 15 are currently at its intensive care units (ICU) as of 8 a.m. Thursday, March 26.
